The first two interviews felt smooth, but the last in-person one was noticeably different.

The interviewer barely looked at me during the conversation, and that kind of disengagement threw me off and made it harder to read the room.

What I did appreciate was that they had provided a guideline of what to expect during the in-person interview, so I wasn’t completely walking in blind. Still, that last conversation didn’t land the way I needed, and it left me feeling uncertain about how well I came across. I didn’t get the result I wanted, and part of my takeaway was how much presence and attention shape the whole interview experience.
