Salesforce Account Executive interview experience

I had a call scheduled with a recruiter that I was told would be pretty casual, but it didn’t feel casual once we started.

It turned into a real interview where I had to detail scenarios and concepts instead of just chatting.

That mismatch threw me off a bit at first, because the expectation I had going in didn’t match the reality of what they asked for. Still, it was clear they were testing my ability to think through situations, not just my resume on paper. It ended without an offer for me, but the experience made it obvious that their early screen could jump straight into performance questions.
