I struggled with a Codility assessment that felt far harder than the role description suggested, then faced a follow-on process that still hinged on coding competence.

Codility test (data structures; several problems) — I took a Codility test that felt like a mismatch with the job description, with multiple questions targeting data structures.
Codility test (3 problems; long session) — In another similar experience, I was given a Codility with three problems relevant to frontend work and it took a few hours. Outcome: I didn’t progress to an offer, and the takeaway was to over-prepare for data-structure depth and endurance in longer timed assessments.
