Rubrik Software Engineer interview experience

After the early scheduling and initial coordination, my interview experience for the Software Engineer role came down to a system coding round where I had to implement a bounded, thread-safe queue.

The conversation was straightforward in structure: I didn’t have to juggle multiple topics across different technical rounds—most of my time was spent reasoning about concurrency properties while translating the requirements into code. The level of difficulty felt tied to getting the thread-safety and bounding behavior correct, not just producing any queue implementation.

I didn’t end up getting
