My process stretched out longer than I expected, mainly because it took multiple rounds and I moved around the store environment.

It started with a phone interview, and then I was scheduled to meet with a manager at a Rooms to Go location. After that, I went into an additional on-site interview with someone more senior—either a regional-level associate or a higher-ranking leader—so the final conversations didn’t feel like just a single hiring manager deciding it all.

What stood out was how much logistical time the interviewers seemed to build in. At one stage I waited while they handled other things, and I was brought through different moments in the store—being asked to pause for calls, waiting while they stepped away
