The coding interview felt like it was tightly time-boxed, and during an implementation discussion I picked what I thought was the most practical approach for a fast interview flow—there was a moment of disagreement, but the engineer eventually accepted my reasoning for why I was choosing that path.

What stuck with me most was the lack of helpful feedback and the friction around how the engineer handled the session. While I was typing, they were actively messing around in my editor, and it created distractions that led to extra errors on my side. Near the end, they seemed extremely unhappy
