Vancouver, WAPosted May 2022 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started with a standard screening call, and the interviewer told me they’d make a decision about whether to proceed roughly five minutes after the interview.

I left feeling like I understood what would happen next.

But the timeline didn’t match what I was told. I didn’t hear anything for a week, and when I followed up directly asking if I was still being considered, I didn’t get a straight answer. After more time passed, I finally received a rejection.

Overall, it wasn’t the questions themselves that affected me—it was the lack of clear communication and the way the process dragged compared to the signal I got right after the screen. I didn’t receive an offer, and the experience made me feel uneasy about how decisions were being handled.
