Rockwell Automation Software Engineer interview experience

I went in expecting mostly technical questions, and that’s exactly what I got—electrical and electronics fundamentals dominated the conversation.

I had standard prompts like introducing myself, along with mild resume grilling, and then more focused digging into the core subjects.

The HR portion also stayed pretty basic and behavioral, and the interviewers were kind and calm throughout. The overall difficulty was average, and the experience felt more comfortable than stressful.

I didn’t end up with an offer, but the interview flow felt fair and respectful. The calm tone actually helped me explain my background more clearly than I expected.
