Rockwell Automation Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Hard

Positive

IndiaPosted Feb 2018 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with a written assessment that mixed a technical component with a more general aptitude test.

After that, there was a group discussion, and then I had a personal interview. Even though the overall experience felt positive, the whole thing was clearly time-consuming, and it didn’t seem like they were bringing in many students.

The difficulty came more from the amount of steps and how much they asked for in sequence than from any single question. The written part plus the group dynamic made it feel like a full selection event, not a quick checkpoint.

I didn’t end up getting an offer, but I remember walking away knowing it was a competitive funnel—few selections and a lot of time
