I got pulled into interviews right after an annual career fair, when recruiters arranged 1:1 conversations on campus the very next day.

The recruiters were professional and friendly, and I remember that they were recruiting for multiple positions. After that first wave, the next step only happened if you were selected.

For me, the process didn’t end up moving forward the way I expected, which left me with a sense of how selective the follow-up could be. Since I only had that initial campus interaction and didn’t reach the later rounds, it was hard to build momentum.

No offer came out of it, and the biggest reflection I had was that the early stage was pleasant, but the funnel toward the rest of the process felt narrow.
