Rockwell Automation Software Engineer interview experience

Got offer

I was contacted by a recruiter to schedule, and then I met the hiring manager.

The interview day was longer and more varied than I expected: I was interviewed one-on-one and also in pairs, and in total I ended up speaking with six people.

It lasted four hours and ran through lunch, with lunch provided as part of the day. That format made the pace feel consistent—there wasn’t just a quick stop-and-start, it felt like they were actively gathering enough signal from multiple interviewers.

I didn’t get an offer, but the process felt organized and intentional because of the number of people involved and the way the time was filled.
