The process started with an asynchronous video interview where I answered a set of canned questions and left recorded responses.

It felt slow and impersonal, and the whole setup made it seem like the video format was a poor way to evaluate someone.

Compared to other hiring steps I’d experienced, it didn’t feel very responsive or professional—at least during that stage. Overall, the biggest thing that stuck with me was how unengaging and delayed the early process felt, before I could even get to more interactive evaluation.
