Rocket Lab Systems Engineer interview experience

The format felt very focused on the people I’d realistically be working with—both the team-level perspective and the broader engineering leadership.

I didn’t walk away with a clear sense of a gimmick or a single tricky moment; it was more the feeling of going straight into conversations with the actual stakeholders around the role. Overall it felt like a fairly standard engineering-company evaluation, just delivered through a heavier panel setup than I expected. I ultimately didn’t receive an offer, but the process itself felt organized enough to be taken seriously.
