Rivian Software Engineer interview experience

The technical part mostly revolved around the projects I’d worked on, so it felt grounded in my background instead of abstract theory. The system design discussion also didn’t come off as brutal—overall it felt pretty easy, more like a check of how I think than a test of memorized details.

I also got feedback quickly, which helped a lot since I wasn’t left waiting in the dark. That immediate next-day response made the whole experience feel smoother than the typical slow-turnaround processes I’d heard about.
