I went through a full four-round sequence, and what made it exhausting was how repetitive it felt.

The early rounds brought me back to the same themes—whether I was genuinely up for the challenges of the role—and I answered with examples from my background and explained why I felt I’d be a good match.

Even when I gave detailed responses, the manager kept steering the conversation back to how tough the job would be, and it landed like I wasn’t really being listened to. I remember feeling increasingly disrespected because the manager wasn’t engaging with what I was saying and even appeared to be laughing at points. It honestly shifted the vibe from “serious screening” to “dismissive.”
