Rivian Software Engineer interview experience

I completed the interview and then, two days later, I received a rejection email. I honestly didn’t understand what went wrong, because nothing about the conversation gave me a clear signal that I was being discounted.

I tried reaching out to the HR contact to get more clarity, but I didn’t get a response. That left me sitting with unanswered questions instead of any useful feedback.

I didn’t get an offer, and the part that bothered me most was the lack of follow-through after the rejection—if the decision was final, I still wanted some explanation for where I missed the mark.
