Irvine, CAPosted Mar 2025 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process was a phone call with the hiring manager that ran about 45 minutes, mixing technical and behavioral.

The questions felt standard—things like my current position in university and my graduation date.

The technical focus leaned heavily on my past experience rather than deep diving into ML, deep learning, or computer vision concepts. Even though the difficulty was average, the emphasis didn’t match what I expected if the role were truly centered on technical ML content, and that made the conversation feel more experience-driven than concept-driven.
