My experience had an odd contrast between the early process being straightforward and the recruiter-side communication being what really soured it.

I did have steps that sounded standard on paper: a recruiter call that covered the company, availability, compensation, and my biggest achievement, and then a longer interview session with multiple panelists. The panelists themselves were engaged and listened patiently, and the format included me preparing a presentation slide deck around my technical highlight.

But throughout, the recruiter communication didn’t feel responsive, and it left me feeling like my time wasn’t valued. At moments it felt like I was chasing answers rather than being guided, and that overall tone was hard to shake
