I interviewed for Security Engineer on a technically heavy track where networking fundamentals were repeatedly tested, and the overall experience could feel drawn out.

Recruiter / first technical screen — Mostly technical questioning, with the interviewer appearing to read from a script; I had to know TCP/UDP, the OSI model, and firewalls.
Follow-up scheduling / delay — In one attempt, the recruiter didn’t contact me promptly after my referral, affecting the process timeline.
Additional technical round — I faced a deeper technical interview later, but the process overall stretched beyond a month.
Final decision feel — I found the provided study guidance broad and unhelpful for what actually appeared. Outcome: I didn’t move
