Redfin Software Engineer interview experience

The whole thing was mainly basic behavioral questions, and it wasn’t especially hard in terms of technical difficulty. The interviewer was nice and kind, which made the conversation feel low-pressure even though it ended quickly.

Because the scope stayed behavioral and didn’t go into deep technical topics, I didn’t get much signal beyond how I communicated and how well my background fit what they were looking for at that stage. I didn’t get an offer, and honestly the rejection felt more like a timing and matching decision than a “couldn’t do the work” moment.
