Reddit Product Designer interview experience

I went through a CV/portfolio review, a behavioral conversation with the hiring manager, then a whiteboarding challenge. After that, there was a portfolio presentation plus a 1:1 with a design peer.

Even though there were multiple stages, it didn’t feel like five different “days” of the same grind—I had only three main blocks of interviewing to get through. I appreciated that pacing because I didn’t end up doom-scrolling my calendar for weeks.

The whiteboard was the hardest part mainly because it asked for creativity under constraint. It felt different from the common “solve exactly this”
