Recro Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Negative

IndiaPosted Aug 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My first round was a coding assessment along with multiple-choice questions.

The coding questions were medium in difficulty. That part went okay, and I moved into the next round.

The second round was a rough experience. The interview was scheduled at 10 pm, and the interviewer joined about 10 minutes late. He asked two coding questions—one to swap adjacent nodes in a linked list, and another involving binary search. I had a working approach for the linked list problem, and when I asked to show the running program, he wouldn’t let me and said they were out of time.

I didn’t get an offer. The feeling I left with was that my time wasn’t valued, and it was hard to stay
