My coding process felt a bit improvised from the start.

I was given coding challenges using Word documents and what looked like React app challenges on HackerRank. The setup made it feel like they weren’t fully prepared.

Even the style of the questions gave me that “janky” feeling—like the material might have been pulled from generic interview question collections rather than tailored to the role.

I didn’t receive an offer. What stood out most wasn’t the technical content itself as much as the overall unpolished presentation of the evaluation.
