Santa Clara, CAPosted Mar 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My process started with a typical 45-minute phone interview with the hiring manager, followed by an onsite experience with four rounds.

One of those rounds was a system design conversation with architects, and that part was genuinely challenging and interesting.

In the coding round, I got a sense that some of the mid-level engineers weren’t fully clear on their questions or on multiple ways to solve the problem. Instead, the focus felt more like language-specific features than real problem-solving ability.

I didn’t receive an offer, and my overall impression was that the system design round demanded more thinking, while other parts felt less polished and more rigid around syntax and language details.
