San Diego, CAPosted Jun 2021 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I started with a recruiter call that was easy to talk through, and it set a comfortable tone.

After that, I met with two higher-ups. Their approach was less like a tightly structured Q&A and more like they asked questions and then left it largely up to me to shape my answers.

What stood out to me wasn’t the difficulty of the questions so much as how engaged they seemed during the conversation. They weren’t as attentive as I expected, which made the whole experience feel a little flat. Even so, the interactions themselves stayed conversational. I never ended up receiving an offer, and that lack of momentum afterward made the process feel incomplete to me.
