I started with an HR screening call that was about 30 minutes and focused on basic behavioral questions.

After that, I was scheduled for a Zoom call with several sales managers.

During the Zoom conversation, they ended up deciding my career goals weren’t aligned with the position. Instead of pushing forward, they encouraged me to apply for another role within the company.

It didn’t go all the way to an offer, but the experience was still easy and fairly direct. My reflection was that the decision felt more like a fit-based outcome than a vague rejection, even if it wasn’t the result I wanted.
