I went through three rounds of interviews for the role, and after that I didn’t hear anything for a while.

I kept waiting, but there was no clear follow-up or communication about whether I had progressed.

After a few weeks of silence, I assumed it was a no. What made it frustrating wasn’t just the lack of an offer—it was the feeling that after the number of hours I’d put into the process, I deserved at least some email from HR to close the loop.

I ended up not receiving an offer, and my main reflection was that the interview performance may have been only part of what I needed; the communication after the final round mattered just as much to me.
