I didn’t actually go through a traditional interview process for this role.

I transferred into the position instead, so the normal hiring rounds never happened for me. Looking back, it made sense in the way the business runs—financial advisors are the ones who drive everything, so leadership seems to keep an eye out for them continuously.

Because I was moving internally, the experience felt more like a transition than an evaluation with multiple stages. There wasn’t the usual back-and-forth about my background through rounds of interviews, and I didn’t have to navigate assessment steps or panel discussions.

I didn’t receive an external offer through an interview
