I interviewed for the Software Engineer role and was shut out very early after an HR conversation that felt incompatible with my values.

Recruiter screen (via LinkedIn outreach) — I asked about women’s groups or diversity efforts, and the response suggested diversity wasn’t a priority, paired with a comment implying excitement that I was a woman in engineering.
Resulting process — I was immediately rejected after that interaction. Outcome: I didn’t get past the recruiter stage; the takeaway is that the early-stage conversations can strongly predict fit (or lack of it) even before any technical evaluation.
