Ramp Backend Engineer interview experience

I experienced Ramp’s early funnel as application-plus-assessment with quick automation afterward, and it felt frustrating because there was no human follow-up or feedback.

Essay-style entrepreneurial performance questions — I filled out written questions about entrepreneurial skills and a past exceptional performance.
Timed online assessment — I completed a roughly 45-minute online assessment.
Automated/rapid rejection — Even after strong results in one case (full score / perfect pass), I received a generic no-reply denial a few days later, with no explanation. Outcome: I didn’t get an offer; the takeaway was that success on the assessment didn’t seem to guarantee any meaningful review or transparency.
