Ramp Software Engineer interview experience

The coding bar seemed high, and I remember hearing that even people who finished all questions could still fail. The practical focus made it feel like they were testing real coding fluency rather than just theory.

I also remember that preparation for basics mattered a lot—especially core coding concepts—because the questions emphasized hands-on, practical use. The overall experience didn’t give me the sense that a smooth, high-effort performance automatically equals success. In the end, I didn’t receive an offer, which was disappointing given how engaged I felt during the rounds.
