This was an on-campus hiring experience with a compact set of rounds—three total.

First came an online assessment that included two coding questions: one was a normal string problem and the other involved a segment tree. After that, I had a technical interview and then an HR round.

The difficulty was marked as difficult, and it matched how the assessment felt: segment tree work especially set a higher bar than typical beginner coding questions. I didn’t pass the overall process, and since feedback wasn’t provided, I couldn’t pinpoint whether it was the final technical discussion or the earlier assessment that ended things.
