Rakuten Software Engineer interview experience

Even though my background matched most of the job description, I only received a generic rejection email with no details or explanation.

The process felt less like a real evaluation and more like a black box. Looking back, the lack of transparency was what stood out most—there was no feedback to clarify why I wasn’t shortlisted, which left me wondering whether the role was actively hiring or just placeholder.
