The interview itself felt easy, and I got the sense they might have been selecting based more on resume and communication than on pushing hard in the room.

I was thorough when I discussed my projects, and they asked some coding questions as well.

Even though I answered everything they asked and walked away with a positive mindset, I didn’t get selected. I attributed that to the idea that the decision leaned on resume fit, since the conversation was comfortable and I covered the areas I was prepared for.

My reflection was that success here didn’t seem to come only from being able to answer questions on the spot—it looked like they were comparing overall background and how it matched their needs.
