My process felt standard, but it still came across as difficult because there were multiple technical stages.

It was a three-round flow: first a coding round, then a full technical round, and then a manager round. In the coding round, I was asked Java string and array-based program questions. During the technical round, the focus shifted to end-to-end testing processes and automation, so it wasn’t enough to just write code—I had to explain the testing logic across the workflow. The manager round wrapped it up after that, and the overall impression was that the role wanted both hands-on coding and structured thinking.
