Publicis Sapient Software Engineer interview experience

I went through a process that felt moderate to hard and was mostly anchored in Java, with SQL also coming up heavily.

The interview included some DSA-style focus around strings, and what stood out was that the discussion went beyond simple right-or-wrong answers into a more in-depth conversation.

The pacing and depth made it feel like they were genuinely checking whether I understood the underlying ideas, not just whether I could solve one prompt quickly. Even though it was difficult overall, the experience felt positive to me because I ended up learning new things while going through the topics they wanted to evaluate.
