I interviewed for a Software Engineer role where the process felt average and smooth early on, but the overall fit ultimately didn’t align with what they were prioritizing.

Round 1 (technical) — I got through the first stage, and the discussion emphasized ML more than the front-end nature of the role I was targeting.
Round 2 (fit/culture path) — I didn’t reach beyond the next step; in a separate similar timeline, after multiple rounds on Teams with technical discussions and an HR follow-up, the status stayed pending rather than resolving. Outcome: No offer; either the role/team mismatch (front-end vs ML-heavy) or stalled decisions prevented progress.
