The process was smooth right up until the point where I was told I got selected.

After that, though, the offer never got released. The HR contact kept promising that the offer would be finalized, but it never happened, and I ended up wasting about three months waiting.

Because the communication continued without closure, the experience turned from hopeful into frustrating pretty quickly. Even though the earlier steps ran well, the final stage dragged on and created a lot of uncertainty.

I didn’t end up with an offer, and the overall reflection I had was that a smooth interview experience can still end badly if the post-selection follow-through isn’t dependable.
