I had an on-site interview that leaned hard into C and C++ internals and debugging-style thinking.

The questions ranged from pointers and related topics in C/C++ to how class behavior can get tricky, including object slicing. They also asked about operations like inverting a linked list, and I was tested on finding bugs in code.

Another part of the same overall style of assessment focused on memory-level understanding—things like memory segments—and then moved into C/C++ features like how char* and char[] differ. I also got questions involving constructors, destructors, and virtual functions, plus a reasoning question that required O(1) extra space for a classic water trapping problem
