My interview experience felt light in terms of what they asked, but I still wasn’t able to get traction.

I went in and was asked to work through something that I couldn’t properly crack, and once I realized I didn’t understand what the expected approach was, I basically ended up walking away from it. The interaction didn’t feel constructive at all.

After that, it just sort of turned into a waiting-and-moving-on moment rather than a real problem-solving conversation. I didn’t end up with an offer, and what I remember most was the mismatch between how the interview was described and how unclear the actual problem-solving expectations felt to me.
