I went through several rounds that were mostly behavioral, and it ended up lasting longer than I expected.

At one point, I was told the last round had been reached, but then more rounds were added after that.

In total, I completed six rounds. Only one of them was technical, while the rest were more about getting to know the team and discussing my background and fit.

Eventually, I was told the position was no longer open. Even though the rounds were fairly consistent in style, the shifting timeline and the “final round” message that didn’t actually mean final made the experience feel drawn out, and ultimately disappointing.
