Principal Financial Group Software Engineer interview experience

The tone was relaxed enough that it didn’t feel like an interrogation, and the discussion centered heavily on my past project work.

We went into detail about what I’d done before and then talked through the kind of project I would be working on. It felt like a real exchange rather than just scanning for keyword matches. I didn’t receive an offer, but I remember walking away feeling that they genuinely understood my background and what I’d be stepping into.
