After applying, I was contacted a couple of weeks later to set up a phone interview.

The call itself was with a young HR representative who was nice, but it was clear she was reading from a list of basic questions and typing my answers as we went.

The conversation lasted about 20 minutes, and I was told she’d send my information to management for the next decision about who would be invited to in-person interviews. She mentioned she’d be in touch within a week, but after two weeks of no update I followed up asking whether the role had been filled or if there were any changes. I still didn’t hear back, and the whole experience felt unprofessional to me.
