The process started with a video interview and then moved into in-person interviews.

The video part felt weird and a little awkward, even though the in-person rounds weren’t necessarily bad.

I had applied because a friend who was already an account manager encouraged me to try. He talked a lot about high volumes of work, but also mentioned benefits and potential for growth. When I received an offer, it came with a starting salary around 38K and yearly raises, but I thought it didn’t match the workload they described. Since it would have meant a major pay cut for me, I declined.
