I cleared four rounds of interview, including a coding round, and later there was salary negotiation with HR.

At the end, HR told me they would be sharing the offer letter soon.

But after two days, they called back to say the position I’d interviewed for was put on hold. It felt like I’d gone through all the steps and then had my time wasted at the finish line, as if they were playing with candidates’ emotions rather than managing the process responsibly.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the biggest impact was how abruptly things changed after the negotiation and the promise of an offer letter.
