San Francisco, CAPosted Jun 2023 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I interviewed for Customer Success Engineer through recruiter screening and an assessment, and after being declined by one hiring manager I ultimately got an offer via another opening.

Recruiter meeting — Met with the recruiter first.
Assessment — Took an assessment after screening.
Hiring manager interview (first) — Interviewed with a hiring manager but was declined.
Hiring manager interview (second opening) — The recruiter brought me to another hiring manager with an opening, and that’s where I received the offer. Outcome: Offer received; the takeaway is that a different team opening changed the outcome even after an earlier decline.
