My interview was short—just two rounds—and it was very focused on fundamentals and practical design.

Round one went straight into computer science fundamentals, including how HTTP works and how packets flow through a network.

Round two moved from theory to building something concrete: I was asked to design low-level architecture for a Calendly-style app. It wasn’t a long marathon, but it required me to translate the earlier networking knowledge into how an actual application might be structured.

Overall, the process felt straightforward in structure, and it matched the kinds of topics that usually matter for backend engineering—how the pieces work and how you’d map that into a system
