Pointwest Technologies Software Engineer interview experience

I went through an examination and an HR interview. The exam took about an hour and it was tough for me—I wasn’t prepared, and they called it the “Harvard examination.” It included IQ testing plus verbal and nonverbal components, along with English comprehension.

I got turned down because I didn’t pass, and they gave me a letter telling me they regretted to inform me that I wasn’t successful. The experience felt final and cut-throat compared to more conversational stages, and that was honestly what surprised me most—how much the outcome depended on that one difficult timed assessment.
