My process began with an online assessment, followed by a phone interview.

In the phone call, they first asked about my education background, then moved into two more specific technical directions.

One part asked me to write pseudocode for k-means, and the other asked about a convergence guarantee. They also brought up whether I had any math olympics experience, which felt like a way to gauge depth beyond coursework.

Overall this was described as difficult. I didn’t get an offer, and the combination of algorithmic description plus convergence reasoning made it feel like they wanted both practical intuition and theoretical comfort.
