I went through a phone screen and a basic assessment centered on foundational data science, then a small portfolio-style analysis exercise.

Phone interview — about 30 minutes with basic data science questions.
Project / practical exercise — analyze selected stocks in an Excel-style workflow using French Fama.
Online assessment — a short set of questions described as mostly easy (3 easy plus 1 medium). Outcome: I didn’t advance beyond this stage, and the takeaway was that the process tested practical familiarity and fundamentals rather than deep research-level work.
